I wanted to give this a higher star, but I just couldn't. I was invested in the case and then it just ended. It got resolved by being told it happened via Dane. Not cool. So, I guess I wish it was longer, so we could have gotten the full effect.

I wanted to know more about how Dane pegged Riley. Not everybody acts the way they look. So he helped an older lady to a table, that's being a decent person. That doesn't equal smart, loyal, hard-working, etc. whatever else he pegged him at before they even spoke to each other. Stereotypes. Gotta hate 'em. But, I guess in this case it worked in their favor. It works against people too and THAT'S what sucks. Because someone doesn't look the part they automatically think the worst :(

Riley. Oh man. Your speech killed me. Had me in tears. I could just feel everything you were saying. I guess I would be making that assumption too, if I were in your shoes.

As far as the insta-love, eh, it's a novella it happens all the time. That didn't bother me so much. I just wanted to know more about the damn case ;)

Oh and Mr. Zen, you can dance for me any day, honey.

I will say that I want more from this couple. Riley and Dane. YUM!
