3.5 Stars Overall, I thought Throwaway was a good book. Kind of cool that it took place in STL since I live here and all ;) At times things felt rushed...her mourning for one.
I also wished that Gabe asked the questions I was wondering. Selfish much?? Yes, I am, but 14 years in prostitution. What exactly did that entail? Did she sleep with every one of those men? How many men a night? Only $20,000 banked on 14 years of selling her body?
Those were just some questions I had, but I loved the story.
The cover is superb! Reminds me of the bar scene while watching Danny play with her cowboy boots on and her legs were on Gabe's lap.
