I bought this on a whim, because I wanted something different. I am glad I did. I really liked this, but I wish it was a dual POV. I wanted inside of Matt's head--I wanted more of his past. What made him go after Jamie in the beginning?
Jamie, oh Jamie, his past has made him have a fear of abandonment and now he needs a schedule. He's driven and a hard worker, which he's a CPA at an accounting firm at Brooks and Stillman. The only day he's "allowed" to cut loose is Friday nights where he goes out to the club with his friend, Art. The only thing he wasn't looking for was Matt. He knows that Matt is going to throw a wrench in his perfectly scheduled life. Is he ready for that? No! I love smart-ass Jamie. I wouldn't have thought an uptight guy like him would have a mouth on him and go to dance clubs and have random hook-ups.
Matt is such a patient guy. I can not believe how patient he is. I love how he befriended Art!!! Not only is he patient, but he's rather ummm..possessive and he doesn't give up easily. There's more to Matt than Jamie realizes and I love how Matt "grounds" Jamie.
Does Matt buy the dojo? How's life at work for Jamie now? I could see a sequel involving Jamie's parents/grandma. What did Ed mean about Keith? Did he party with him too?
When problems at work arise Jamie gets unexpected help from Matt. Will Jamie put his fears behind him and just go with the flow or will he continue to push Matt away??
I will say though that there is such thing as too much sex. This one had it. I found myself skimming the scenes.
