I will admit at first this was very clinical. However, it felt real. I loved how Lori didn't want to attach emotion/intimate acts (such as kissing/cuddling/etc.) She knew this was sex and just sex. No pretending. Very realistic.

Ander, I wanted to hold him and tell him everything was going to be alright for a lot of this. He was so detached...very professional/clinical. I also didn't like how he brought up "well some of my clients like this". Then again, I hated that Lori always brought up the money. I would have just told Ander to bill me, since they were together forever and had a never ending engagement.

How would you like to sleep with an "escort" for 6 months? Knowing that every other day of the week he's sleeping with someone else? Knowing you cared about him a lot, but didn't want to use him like everyone else. Essentially you were though. You were paying him for sex--doesn't that equal using someones body?

How can you go from that transition of pretending everything is professional when you want a personal one? How can you tell him that you're jealous? How can you tell him to stop using his body?

I absolutely loved this and it's something that will stick with me for a long time. I honestly didn't expect for me to shed tears during this book, but I can say I did. Several times actually.
