Sharing Hailey (Lovers and Friends, #1) - Samantha Ann King 3.5 Stars

This would have rated higher, except for a few issues and I will name them then talk about why I liked it.

Issue #1: The term "slut" was used WAY too often. I hate it, I think it's degrading. I am a woman with a healthy sex life and that does NOT make me a slut. I don't think anyone should feel like a slut because they are doing something unconventional. If this is what you want to do and you aren't hurting yourself or anyone else and are SAFE then if's fine. It's your life do with it what you will. But, to constantly think of yourself a slut? Not cool.

Issue #2: No one had an issue with the 3? Even parents were cool with it? Ummm...unrealistic. I know I would be fine with it, I don't think monogamy is all that it's cracked up to be (says the married woman). Certain lifestyles lead to different ways of life. It just sucks that people have to judge. However with that said, I think too many people were fine with it. I would have liked to have seen some confrontation on their relationship.

Issue #3: The Daniel ordeal went on for too long. Also her unwillingness to grasp what was happening was a struggle too. "this isn't me, this isn't my life, I'm not that girl". Ummm...yes you are. Get a grip and talk about it. Also, if she was so close with Mark and Tony then wouldn't they have said something to make her see the light? I know Mark said she wouldn't listen, but HELLO you saw what was happening YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING!

Now onto the things I did like:

Loved the communication between them all.

I liked Hailey voicing her opinion on how she won't choose between them. She said that upfront!

I liked the separate times as well as the 3 of them together. (However, I would have liked more interaction between Mark and Tony).
